It’s that time of year! Now that Thanksgiving is here, the holiday season has officially arrived. You might have huge plans or parties coming your way, and as always, we have you covered in the fashion department. If you’re looking to be comfortable or slay this year, check out these outfits perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve!
Thanksgiving
Are you looking to be more comfortable this Thanksgiving? After eating pounds of turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie, you might find that your stomach is a lot more bloated than it was before. Your best way to avoid the bloated look is with an oversized sweater.
While you might feel tempted to slay in a body-con dress, you might regret it once the turkey starts to show! You can easily pair your sweater with jeans and cute booties to create a less casual vibe.
Another way to slay this Thanksgiving is with a poncho. Not only are these a hot trend for the season, but it’s also a great way to hide that extra slice of pie you know you’ll be having. Instead of opting for jeans or pants, you could definitely go with your favorite body-con dress. You could start the evening in your dress and after you fill your stomach up to the max, you can throw on your poncho.
Christmas
What is Christmas if you’re not wearing red or green?! These next three outfits are perfect if you’re having a romantic, sexy, or casual Christmas season.
Nothing says romantic and flirty more than this red tea skirt. While we’re used to red being the color of sexy and sultry, this is the perfect way to incorporate it into a softer look. Pair this bold skirt with a simple white sweater. Sparkly pumps are a perfect way to keep the outfit looking festive, but if you’re not in the market for heels, nude will always work wonders.
You might be aiming for a chic and more casual appearance for Christmas than in our first look. This khaki-colored dress is definitely sexy, and if you’re going for this look, definitely ditch the denim jacket. Dusters are IN this season, so you could easily pair this look with a duster and some sexy pumps. If you’re not a fan of bright green, darker shades like olive and hunter green will come in clutch this holiday season.
Ugly Christmas sweater where?! The classic idea is an “ugly Christmas sweater,” and I don’t know about you but my Christmas sweaters are all fabulous! If you’re going for the comfortable Christmas sweater outfit, all you need to do is aim for comfort! You can easily complete any outfit with jeans or leggings and pair it with your favorite (or most comfortable) pair of boots! Don’t forget the beanie!
New Year’s Eve
New Year’s Eve outfits are SERIOUS! Do you know why? Not only will this be the outfit that ends 2016 for you, but it will also be the outfit that you start the New Year in. I don’t know about you, but I plan on slaying every second of 2017, starting with my outfit.
One thing that will be in excess New Year’s Eve are the sparkles! You can definitely incorporate this into your outfit with sequins. This sequined dress is not only sexy but it’s also festive. The body-con shape allows your figure to peak through while the length gives you an opportunity to show a little leg. The ¾ length sleeve is definitely a unique touch and the almost white/gold appearance will help it match with most accessories!
If there’s one thing to know about sequins, it’s that they can often get scratchy if you don’t know how to wear them. For a darker and sleeker look this New Year’s Eve, this all-black outfit is perfect. Not only are the high waist pants sexy, but the look has just enough sequins on the top to be equally comfortable and festive.
I have the feeling that the 2016 holiday season is going to be great, starting with the fashion and maybe ending with some cocktails! The holiday season is just beginning so be sure to enjoy it!
